Certified Dietary Manager

Job Summary:

Kadima at Palmyra, A 39-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager to join our dynamic, family-centered team. As a Certified Dietary Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing nutritious meals to our residents, promoting their overall health and well-being. Responsibilities:

• Manage the daily operations of the dietary department, ensuring that all residents receive high-quality meals and snacks that meet their nutritional needs and dietary restrictions

• Supervise and train dietary staff, including cooks, and aides

• Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

• Collaborate with the nursing staff to address resident dietary needs and concerns

• Conduct food safety and sanitation audits to ensure a clean and safe food environment

Requirements:

• Must be a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or have the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire

• 1-2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
