Build/Racking Technician

Job Description

The Build / Racking Technician is responsible for the installation, assembly, wiring, and commissioning of network, power, and industrial control infrastructure in communications rooms, substations, utility facilities, and industrial environments. This role builds and outfits IDF, MDF, and MMR racks, installs network and power distribution equipment, and supports industrial Ethernet and PLC communications systems while maintaining strict adherence to electrical safety standards and commissioning procedures.

Skills and Requirements

• Rack buildout experience (IDF/MDF/MMR) in a commercial or industrial environment
• Industrial networking and switch installation experience Low-voltage AC/DC power termination and testing Experience working on customer premise or in other non-traditional environments
