Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting Packaging Engineer opportunities in Clark, NJ. Responsibilities for Packaging Engineer include but are not limited to:

  • Manage end-to-end product development projects, including new product launches, plant transfers, and catalog maintenance updates.

  • Develop and maintain project timelines, milestones, and risk mitigation plans to ensure on-time launches.

  • Lead cross-functional teams across Marketing, Operations, R&D, Packaging, and Manufacturing to drive project success.

  • Present project reviews, escalate risks, and provide launch status updates to operational and divisional leadership.

  • Conduct feasibility assessments, cost analysis (COG), profitability reviews, and sustainability evaluations for new products.

  • Drive project meetings, resolve roadblocks, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure compliance with L'Oréal quality processes.

Candidates for Packaging Engineer must meet the following requirements to be considered:

  • 4-6+ years of Product Development and Project Management experience, preferably within Cosmetics, Beauty, Consumer Goods, Pharma, or Food industries.

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Operations, Product Development, or a related technical field.

  • Strong project management skills with advanced Excel/Microsoft 365 proficiency.

  • Experience leading product launches from concept through commercialization with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work onsite and manage multiple projects while driving strategic decision-making, risk management, and business results.

Pay Details: $51.70 per hour
