Job Description

A healthcare organization in the LA area is seeking a strong Tier 2 Support Technician to support their initiative of modernizing their clinical workstations. This includes rolling out single sign-on capabilities, workstation refreshes, monitor replacements, and badge reader deployments. This project will begin with a full asset inventory and transition into deployment. The initial inventory phase will take about a month, in which the specialist will conduct physical inventory assessment of IT assets throughout the facility, visit clinical and administrative areas to document equipment, identify devices that require replacement or refresh, and document inventory records.

The second phase is expected to be around 2-3 months. In this phase, the Tier 2 Support Technician will support workstation modernization efforts by deploying and configuring end-user computing devices, installing and testing badge swipe/card reader technology for single sign-on initiatives, and will deploy and replace approximately 500 monitors. Additionally, they will assist with PC imaging and reimaging and help to reimage and deploy approximately 250 workstations. They will troubleshoot hardware, software, and Windows-related issues and help ensure a successful deployment.
