Pay Range DOE: $22.00-$25.00/hour

Work Schedule: 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM. – 4:00 PM and 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM. – 12:30 AM ( This is a temp-to-hire with the eligibility of full-time permanent placement.)

Benefits: This position is eligible for Paid Sick and Safe Time (PSST) under the Healthy Families and Workplaces Act. All employees may also make pre-tax or post-tax (Roth) contributions to our retirement plan – must be 18 years of age to participate.

JOB SUMMARY:

The MIG Aluminum Welder is responsible for assembling and welding aluminum components. The MIG Aluminum Welder operates welding equipment, assembles, welds, and inspects welds for safety and product protocols.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Layout, position, and weld aluminum components using MIG welding.

  • Assemble parts by bolting, riveting, or welding.

  • Inspect and repair welded components as needed.

  • Ensure work meets quality standards and safety protocols.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education:

  • A Technical certification or vocational training is a strong plus.

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in aluminum MIG welding.

Other:

  • Ability to pass a hands-on weld test.

  • Strong attention to detail and accurate measurement skills.

  • Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

  • Must be able to work in various weather conditions with varying temperatures*.
