A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)

Our Complex Projects organization is looking for a highly driven, self-motivated Commercial Project Manager (CPM) / Project Controller to join our team of CPMs! In this role, you will be responsible for all commercial aspects and project financials (controlling, reporting, and forecasting). You will work together with our project management organization with the main objective of completing projects according to our contractual obligations, project management standards, and applicable financial guidelines.

A strong attention to detail, the ability to think critically, and a collaborative mindset are critical traits for success in this role.

HowYou’ll Make an Impact (responsibilities)

  • ·Fully responsible forall commercial and finance-related matters, including Accounting, Legal, Tax,and New Collaboration Model topics.

  • ·Manage and optimizefinancial results with due professional care, including revenue, project grossprofit, cash flow, assets, and financing instruments.

  • ·Lead all aspects ofmonthly revenue recognition and the financial close process ensuring compliancewith IFRS 15, reporting guidelines, and internal controls.

  • ·Prepare and present commercialdocumentation for project status meetings, ensuring accuracy in project data,forecasts, cash flow, and financial reporting.

  • ·Support projectmanagement in risk assessment, non-conformance cost reduction, reportingstructures, and integrating lessons learned into projects and the organization.

  • ·Identify opportunitiesfor process improvement and drive solutions

  • ·Lead ad hoc requests asrequired

WhatYou Bring (requirements)

  • ·Bachelor’s degree in Accountingor Finance is required.

  • ·5+ years of professionalexperience in Accounting or Finance, preferably with experience in ProjectManagement.

  • ·Strong understanding ofIFRS, with proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and analytical tools likeAlteryx and Tableau (preferred).

  • ·Ability to optimallycommunicate financial information to non-financial partners, work in ateam-oriented environment, and lead multiple tasks under pressure to meetdeadlines.

  • ·Must be able to travelapproximately 5%.

  • ·CPA (preferred)

  • ·Applicants must belegally authorized for employment in the United States without need for currentor future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees withcurrent visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
