Business Application Analyst

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a consultative Application Analyst who can bridge the gap between technology and operations. The ideal candidate has strong application support and workflow optimization experience, enjoys solving complex technical and process-related issues, and can effectively partner with stakeholders across the organization. This person should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, leading projects, supporting end users, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates coming from healthcare IT, Epic, clinical applications, or enterprise application support environments will stand out. They need someone who is analytical, customer-focused, collaborative, and able to translate operational challenges into effective system solutions.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in application support, information systems, healthcare IT, or related technical environments
• Experience with workflow analysis, application configuration, and system support
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Experience supporting end users, managing incidents, and resolving complex application issues
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of project management experience
• Healthcare systems or hospital IT experience
• Experience leading testing efforts, including test planning and validation
• Experience creating and delivering end-user training
• Knowledge of data analytics, reporting, and process improvement initiatives
• Experience mentoring junior analysts or team members
• Relevant application certifications
