Full Time| Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM| Hybrid details will be determined based upon the selected candidates location.

Job Purpose or Objective(s): This role is a senior technical contributor on the ServiceNow platform team, responsible for delivering maintainable, upgrade safe, and well-tested solutions that support current ITSM capabilities and future ServiceNow product expansion. The ideal candidate combines hands-on ServiceNow development expertise with strong platform judgment, an out-of-box-first mindset, and the ability to partner across technical, product, and business teams.

Primary Tasks:

  1. Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and support ServiceNow solutions across ITSM and related platform capabilities.

  2. Build and maintain solutions using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Service Catalog, Record Producers, REST/SOAP integrations, Import Sets, Transform Maps, ACLs, and related platform security capabilities.

  3. Support ITSM capabilities including Incident, Major Incident, Request, Change, Knowledge, Problem, Service Catalog, CMDB, and related workflows.

  4. Support expansion into ITOM Discovery, Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, Employee Center, Workspaces, and other ServiceNow products as adopted by the organization.

  5. Develop and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems, including troubleshooting workflow, integration, security, data, and performance issues.

  6. Develop and maintain automated tests using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) and support regression testing for upgrades, releases, and production changes.

  7. Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, testing, release planning, upgrades, and deployments.

  8. Maintain technical documentation, development standards, and reusable solution patterns.

  9. Mentor less-experienced developers and administrators while partnering with the Platform Architect, Product Owner, analysts, QA, infrastructure teams, business stakeholders, and implementation partners.

  10. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, or related field

5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience

3+ years of hands-on JavaScript development within ServiceNow, including server-side and client-side scripting using Glide APIs and related platform capabilities

Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data model, security, application development, and platform configuration best practices

Hands-on experience with core ITSM capabilities

Experience with Flow Designer, ServiceNow automation, REST APIs, Integration Hub, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and enterprise integrations

Experience supporting enterprise ServiceNow environments through upgrades, testing, release management, and production support

Experience with automated testing and regression practices

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work within structured development, testing, and release-management processes

Ability to design secure, reusable, maintainable, and upgrade-safe solutions aligned to platform standards, CMDB governance, and CSDM principles

Ability to translate business and technical requirement into practical ServiceNow solutions while clearly communicating tradeoffs to technical and nontechnical stakeholders
