Aquatic Chemical Technician

Job Description

Performs skilled herbicide application work at numerous aquatic and terrestrial sites throughout the area. The employee in this position is responsible for following the supervisor's instructions in applying herbicides. Herbicides are applied to control unwanted vegetation without damaging desired vegetation and private property. Performs normal and some specialized maintenance in aforementioned work areas. Work is performed under the supervision of a licensed supervisor.

Skills and Requirements

Highschool Diploma/GED 1 year of experience in right-of-way and aquatic herbicide application Restricted Pesticide License
