Job Description
Humana Inc. seeks a Lead Release Train Engineer in Louisville, KY.
Duties:
-
Serving as the ART (Agile Release Train) Conductor and Coach, leading the appropriate use of SAFe principles, facilitating ceremonies (such as PI Planning and System Demos) and leveraging Program Kanban tools to optimize the flow of value for a large, complex program, which enhances the experience and knowledge of customers and hence drives the sales of healthcare plans.

Coaching, Mentoring, and Influencing technical teams, scrum masters, business partners, and all levels of leadership including Executives in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets by providing personalized support and facilitating workshops.

Self-manage priorities and timelines, while influencing leadership and nurturing collaboration between teams and System, Solution Architects and Engineering by synchronization of program level processes and execution across multiple, complex scrum and product teams.

Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process that drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, acceleration of early engagement and enablement of collaboration between business partners and teams, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning events.

Exercising considerable independent judgement and decision making on complex issues, while guiding Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure, strategy and execution alignment throughout the Planning Increment and beyond.

Collaborating with the Agility Enablement Hub on the overall program execution and operational excellence by ensuring that standard and recommended practices are being implemented and adhered to across the portfolio.

Driving improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops, assessing the agility level of the ART and helping in improving Foster -Communities of Practice and the use of engineering and Built-In Quality practices.

Holding teams accountable for maintaining focus on quality and continuous delivery of business value, identification and remediation of related dependencies and barriers, while generating artifacts necessary to maintain cadence and synchronization on the train with an Enterprise view.
100% telecommuting permitted within the U.S.
Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 10 years of experience being Agile Coach, Release Train Engineer, Agile Delivery Manager, Scrum Master, or related roles. In lieu of the Bachelor’s degree, employer will accept any combination of degrees, diplomas, or professional credentials determined to be equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree by a qualified evaluation service or in accordance with 8 CFR § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(D).
Requires 9 years of experience in the following skills:

Program Delivery and Backlog management leveraging Microsoft Azure DevOps and Atlassian JiraAlign.

Enterprise Agile Transformation.

Agile Delivery for large-scale portfolios.

Planning Increment Organization, Orchestration and Facilitation.

Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) coaching and implementation.
Requires 5 years of experience in the following skills:

Microsoft Azure DevOps and Atlassian JiraAlign.

Microsoft Office Suite of Products.
Requires 3 years of experience in the following skills:
- Agile Product Management.
Requires 1 year of experience in Miro, LucidSpark and LucidChart.
SAFe SPC license or SAFe RTE 6.0 license required.
Pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.
