Full job description

Job Description

One of Insight Global's top technology clients is seeking a Packaging Designer (Conceptual) to support design exploration for upcoming packaging programs across Wearables and VR. In this role, you will support the packaging design team on conceptual exploration and help carry design work forward alongside our existing designers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual packaging explorations from brief through internal review
  • Build out multiple directions with clear rationale and trade-offs
  • Support designers on the team as programs ramp — extending directions across SKUs and variants
  • Create presentation-ready renders, mockups, and review decks
  • Maintain the throughline to our broader packaging design system
  • Partner with XFN on feasibility and material questions early in the process

Skills and Requirements

  • Deep production art skills: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop; comfortable working from dielines
  • Experience preparing print-ready packaging files for offshore vendors
  • Detail-obsessed and fast on turnarounds; comfortable with late changes
  • Can work independently across multiple programs at once
