Full job description
Our client, a manufacturer and a global leader in equipment and solutions for outdoor environments, including turf maintenance, landscaping, snow and ice management, irrigation, and specialty construction equipment, is seeking a Environmental Health and Safety Manager to join their team in Minnesota. As a Environmental Health and Safety Manager, you will be part of the EHS function supporting site operations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, a zero-harm mindset, and the ability to interpret and apply EHS regulations across business operations—while building practical, measurable safety systems that help teams perform at their best.
Job Title: Environmental Health and Safety Manager
Location: Windom, Minnesota
Pay Range: $103,000 - $140,000

What's the Job?

Partner with site leadership to promote safety, health, and environmental excellence every day.

Implement and standardize the Safety Management System across the region.

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and corporate EHS requirements.

Lead hazard identification, risk assessment, and injury elimination efforts to support a zero-harm culture.

Oversee regulatory programs (e.g., machine guarding, PPE, and environmental compliance) and drive continuous improvement through audits, metrics, and corrective action closure.
What's Needed?

Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Technology.

3+ years leading and building comprehensive safety programs with evidence of continuous improvement.

Applicable EHS certificate preferred (i.e., CSP, CIH, OHST) and the ability to obtain professional certification within 3 years after starting in the EHS Manager role.

Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization, with the ability to facilitate training and drive performance.

Demonstrated ability to conceive, develop, and execute EHS projects in a manufacturing environment, including incident prevention and investigation support.
