Report Developer

Description We are looking for an experienced Report Developer to create and enhance enterprise reporting solutions that support key business decisions in Anaheim, California. This position focuses on building scalable MicroStrategy dashboards, reports, and semantic models while introducing AI-driven analytics capabilities that improve insight generation and user experience. The ideal candidate brings strong technical depth in business intelligence development, data optimization, and stakeholder collaboration across multiple business functions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine MicroStrategy reporting assets, including schema components, dashboards, dossiers, and operational reports that support business performance monitoring.

• Build and improve semantic models, cubes, and metadata structures to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing self-service analytics.

• Incorporate AI-powered analytics features such as natural language interaction, automated insight generation, anomaly detection, and predictive reporting into BI solutions.

• Work closely with analytics leadership and data science partners to prepare data structures and business-ready models that enable AI and machine learning use cases.

• Create and tune complex queries against Snowflake and related enterprise data platforms to support both reporting and advanced analytics workloads.

• Use modern AI-assisted development tools to streamline report creation, increase productivity, and strengthen technical documentation practices.

• Partner with teams across merchandising, planning, marketing, and finance to translate business needs into effective analytics products.

• Maintain strong governance and security standards by enforcing access controls, row-level security, and validation of analytical outputs.

• Diagnose and resolve reporting, data quality, and platform performance issues, while supporting upgrades, migrations, and administration activities.

• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, including report definitions, schema references, and data flow materials. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing with MicroStrategy, including schema design, dashboard creation, and performance optimization.

• Proven background using AI or generative AI capabilities within business intelligence or analytics environments.

• Strong SQL expertise and practical experience working with Snowflake or a similar cloud-based data warehouse platform.

• Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, enterprise data warehousing principles, and ETL or ELT data integration processes.

• Experience working with reporting and analytics tools such as MicroStrategy, Power BI, or SSRS.

• Familiarity with technologies such as JavaScript, React.js, or Redux is beneficial for broader analytics and interface development support. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
