Summary
This position serves as the Assistant Director of the Executive Secretariat in the Department of Justice, Executive Records and Information Management (ERIM) office. The Assistant Director is responsible for first-line supervision of Executive Correspondence Analysis supporting Departmental leadership in the review and approval of official documents and records.
Duties
The duties and responsibilities for a Supervisory Program Management Specialist, GS-0301-14 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: - Supervise the development and implementation of Department correspondence policies, processes, automated and administrative systems, methods, and procedures that improve the flow of communication within the agency. - Monitor work status through formal and informal means to evaluate progress toward objectives and goals. - Route all actions through the Executive Correspondence (EC) program. - Develop communication strategies to disseminate policy updates and/or changes across the organization. - Perform the administrative and human resource management functions relative to the staff supervised. Qualifications
To qualify for the position of Supervisory Program Management Specialist (Assistant Director, Executive Secretariat), at GS-0301-14, you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or equivalent band in the Federal service, which includes: Developing policies, processes and/or procedures that improve the flow of communications within the agency; Assessing the efficiency or effectiveness of Executive Correspondence Management (ECM) unit; Developing strategies to resolve issues that impact Executive Correspondence Unit program goals or objectives. You MUST meet all qualification requirements, including time-in-grade, by 09/21/2026 of this announcement.
