Employment Type: Part timeShift: Rotating Shift Description: Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Employment Type: Per Diem Shift: PRN for days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Per department needs. Location: Saint Francis Hospital - Wilmington, DE
Position Purpose
The sonographer is responsible for performing all ultrasound procedures including those within the department, at the bedside, and in the OR. The sonographer works closely with the radiologist and other licensed physicians presenting images and data for interpretation and assisting with interventional procedures. The sonographer must show independent judgment when performing procedures and when addressing difficult or unusual situations. The sonographer may have direct or indirect access to medications based on established hospital protocols. The sonographer is responsible for evaluating images for technical quality.
Minimum Qualifications:

HS graduate or equivalent, completion of an accredited program in ultrasound technology
