  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, Tax, and Business stakeholders to execute procurement agreements

  • Develop and implement vendor management strategies for key strategic suppliers, including performance metrics, governance models, and relationship management plans

  • Lead regular business reviews with strategic vendors, addressing performance issues, identifying improvement opportunities, and aligning on long-term objectives

  • Provide procurement and vendor management expertise to support business decisions regarding strategic partner relationships

  • Develop strong working relationships across Amazon business units, Business Development teams, and other key stakeholder groups

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in an indirect procurement function at a multinational corporation

  • Experience managing spend categories that include three or more of the following: IT Software, IT Services, Corporate Services, Marketing, Contingent labor, Facilities and Real estate, Capital Expenditure and Tail Spend (Indirect Categories)

  • Experience with practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, etc.)

  • 5+ years of work in a procurement organization, performing vendor management, contract management, negotiating complex purchases, and bidding experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of cloud services procurement and contracting models
