Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Project Manager to lead the implementation of a large-scale Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) program within a complex enterprise environment. This individual will work closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, identity, and business stakeholders to establish foundational identity and access management capabilities across multiple business entities. The primary focus will be IGA, with additional responsibility supporting related initiatives involving Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Federation technologies. The ideal candidate has previously managed enterprise IAM/IGA implementations and can provide practical guidance while driving project execution, stakeholder alignment, risk management, and delivery.
Responsibilities Lead enterprise cybersecurity projects focused on Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) implementations. Manage project plans, timelines, resources, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and executive reporting. Partner with cybersecurity, infrastructure, identity, application, and business teams to drive implementation activities. Coordinate IGA user onboarding, integrations, testing, deployment, and operational readiness activities. Oversee dependencies across Active Directory, remote access, authentication, and infrastructure modernization workstreams. Facilitate cross-functional discussions and drive decision-making among multiple stakeholder groups. Help establish governance, processes, and operating procedures for identity and access management programs. Monitor risks related to identity, access, authentication, and regulatory compliance requirements. Support implementation efforts involving MFA, SSO, Federation, and other access management initiatives as needed. Ensure successful coordination across multiple environments, business units, and technology teams. Provide realistic implementation guidance based on prior IAM/IGA transformation experience.
Skills and Requirements
7+ years of Project or Program Management experience leading enterprise technology initiatives. Hands-on experience managing at least one enterprise IGA implementation from planning through deployment. Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and best practices. Experience with Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), including user lifecycle management, access reviews, governance processes, and integrations. Experience leading projects involving: Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Single Sign-On (SSO) Federation Experience managing complex technical dependencies across infrastructure, Active Directory, and security teams. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills. Experience managing project budgets, resources, risks, and executive-level reporting. Healthcare industry experience supporting large-scale security and access management initiatives. Experience in highly regulated environments such as: Healthcare Banking/Financial Services Aviation Pharmaceutical Government or other regulated industries Experience supporting cloud transformation or data center modernization initiatives. Familiarity with identity platforms such as SailPoint, Okta, Entra ID (Azure AD), Ping Identity, CyberArk, or similar IAM technologies. PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
