  • Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements and management reporting.

  • Monitor financial activity across multiple entities and ensure transactions are properly recorded and supported.

  • Analyze financial information to identify unusual activity, variances, or potential issues and communicate findings to leadership.

  • Ensure accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls are consistently followed and updated as needed.

  • Partner with operational teams to better understand financial performance and provide accounting insight for business decisions.

  • Serve as a primary accounting contact for external auditors, tax professionals, and other outside advisors.

  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, controls, and overall department efficiency.

  • Assist with ERP/accounting system enhancements, implementations, and other technology-related projects.

  • Balance hands-on accounting responsibilities with management and strategic priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.

  • Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or managing accounting professionals.

  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and fundamental accounting concepts.

  • Demonstrated experience with general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, journal entries, financial reporting, and period-end close.

  • Experience working with multiple entities or business units is preferred.

  • Strong Excel and accounting software skills; experience with an ERP system is highly desirable.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
