Full job description
Facility: Mount St. Mary's Hospital
Shift: Shift 2
Status: Part Time w/Benefits FTE: 0.500000
Bargaining Unit: SEIU Local 1199
Exempt from Overtime: Exempt: No
Work Schedule: Evenings, Nights, with call, weekend and holiday rotation
Hours: Primary start time: 2p-11p. Secondary start time: 7a-10a. On call holiday and weekend rotation required. May rotate to offsite locations. Position will rotate to X-ray.
Summary:
Assists in managing the CT Scan department’s daily operations and provides computerized assisted tomographic services as ordered. Performs diagnostic radiographs and images. Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation as appropriate to the ages of the patients served, based on the area of clinical practice. May be assigned off-site.
Mount St. Mary’s Hospital consists of multiple locations and associate may be assigned as needed
Responsibilities:
EDUCATION

Graduate of an Approved School of Radiologic Technology
-
Current Certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists – Radiological Technologist Registry (ARRT) (R). Must maintain this primary registration at all times to be eligible for certification and registration.

Current Certification by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists – Computed Tomography Registry (ARRT) (CT). Must maintain this secondary registration at all times

Current NYS License in Radiologic Technology required.
CREDENTIALS
-
New York State License as a “General Radiologic Technologist” and current New York State Department of Health certificate of registration as a Radiologic Technologist.

Current NYS License in Intravenous contrast administration required

Current BLS Required
EXPERIENCE
- One (1) to two (2) years CT Scan experience preferred
