This position is located in Helena, MT at the Grasslands facility, which is an off-site facility of the Montana State Hospital. It is funded through June 30, 2027. After this date, the position may be funded permanently or may be subject to a reduction in force (RIF). This position performs nursing assessment, planning, interventions, and evaluation for adult clients with serious mental illness. Responsibilities include assigning work and providing direction and training to subordinate nursing personnel. Qualifications for this Career Opportunity: * Knowledge of nursing, medications, and treatment planning. * Strong knowledge in patients' rights regarding medical treatment. * Ability to plan and implement appropriate nursing care interventions. Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience): * Must be a graduate of an accredited college or university degree in nursing. * Must have an active, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Montana, or the ability to become licensed in the State of Montana. * Preferred experience working with psychiatric inpatient treatment programs.
