Pharma Market Research Consultant

Job Description

This individual will support a high-impact portfolio of strategic initiatives across multiple commercial and market research projects. The consultant will partner closely with marketing, insights & analytics, medical, and market access teams to evaluate market opportunities, support primary research efforts, manage external vendor relationships, and synthesize complex information into actionable business recommendations. This role is highly strategic and collaborative, requiring someone who enjoys connecting insights from multiple sources, influencing stakeholders, and driving research initiatives from concept through execution. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, market research acumen, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Pharmaceutical experience is preferred, with oncology, skin cancer, and indication expansion experience viewed as strong differentiators. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team supporting multiple upcoming engagements and helping shape future commercial strategy. This is a 12 month contract with potential extensions.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical market research, insights & analytics, commercial strategy, or related functions
• Experience working directly within a pharmaceutical or biopharma company (manufacturing side of the business)
• Experience working for a consulting, market research, or analytics firm supporting pharmaceutical/biopharma clients
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience analyzing complex information and translating findings into actionable business recommendations
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills
• Experience managing external research vendors and project deliverables
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a remote environment
• Oncology experience
• Skin cancer experience
• Opportunity assessment and demand evaluation experience
• Indication expansion experience
• Commercial forecasting, launch readiness, or commercialization strategy experience
