Full job description
Job Title: Test Technician
Location: Batesburg-Leesville, South Carolina
Type: Contract
Compensation: $26-28 per hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Understand and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and other documentation related to electronic systems
•Conduct various electronic testing, ensuring quality standards and specifications are met
•Troubleshoot and assist with root cause analysis to identify defects, malfunctions, and the source(s) of product issues
•Perform operational tests and adjustments on electronic equipment using standard procedures and specialized test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, network analyzers, multimeters, etc.
•Provide feedback and recommendations to improve manufacturing processes and test flows for efficiency
•Maintain a clean and organized workspace
•Adhere to safety and quality guidelines and company policies
Must have the ability to
•Obtain an IPC Certification (In-house training)
•Identify problems and assist with finding solutions
•Read and review test results and identify root cause failures
•Lift, stand, walk, and work on concrete surfaces for extended periods of time
•Lift or lower items weighing < 24lbs (10.9kg) and Push or Pull efforts < 42lbs (19kg)
Required Qualifications
•High School Diploma or GED equivalent
•3+ years of Electronic OR equivalent Tester experience
•Solid understanding of electronics, including hardware and software
•Strong attention to detail
•Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP Enterprise Software
