Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Facilities Engineer for a leading technology infrastructure client supporting a large-scale 42-acre campus with a 36MW load in Garland, Texas. This individual will be responsible for coordinating facility maintenance and vendor activities, ensuring the day-to-day operation of commercial buildings remains efficient and well-maintained. The role will focus heavily on vendor management, break/fix repairs, plumbing, landscaping, building maintenance, and work order management through a CMMS platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on facilities experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage third-party service providers while supporting a dynamic and fast-paced operational environment.

PR: $20-22/hr

Skills and Requirements

2-3+ years of facilities maintenance experience 2-3+ years of practical experience in a skilled trade Vendor management and coordination experience Experience with building maintenance and break/fix repairs Knowledge of plumbing, landscaping, and general facility operations Strong communication skills with vendors and internal teams Experience in office building, hotel, or commercial facility maintenance environments Data center campus experience Mechanical systems exposure (non-critical infrastructure) Experience supporting large-scale campuses or commercial properties Familiarity with approved vendor programs and contractor oversight E-Maintenance or CMMS experience Facilities Engineer or Facilities Technician background
