Workday Project Manager

Job Description

• Co-manage the project plan with Workday and keep milestones, dependencies, and the critical path on track
• Coordinate AMC resources across HCM, payroll, benefits, compensation, time, absence, and recruiting workstreams.
• Run governance: status reporting, RAID and decision logs, and escalations to the Project Director and sponsors.
• Schedule and drive design sessions, data conversion and integration kickoffs, and testing cycles.
• Flag resource constraints and backfill needs
• Partner with the Change Manager on communications, training, and adoption.
• Manage scope and budget, catching change orders and variances before they become issues.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of project management experience on enterprise HCM/ERP implementations, with at least one full-lifecycle Workday HCM and Payroll deployment. Demonstrated experience managing customer-side delivery alongside a system integrator or Workday Professional Services and OSV. Working knowledge of Workday deployment methodology and stage-gate structure. Strong command of project planning, RAID management, status reporting, and executive communication. Experience managing data conversion and integration workstreams. Multi-state US payroll experience, including complex costing allocations, tax location mapping, and billback or cost-recovery models. Property management, real estate, or other distributed/high-turnover hourly workforce experience. Fantastic Communication
