Supports scheduled migration cutovers, validates service functionality following deployment, maintains accurate endpoint and inventory documentation, and coordinates with campus departments and technical teams to resolve routine migration issues. Works independently on assignments of moderate scope and complexity while escalating complex voice, network, life-safety, E911, carrier, or system-level issues to senior technical staff as appropriate

  • Field Testing & Diagnostic Tools: Experience using telecommunications and network testing tools, including line butt sets, tone generators, wire tracers, cable continuity testers, and basic network diagnostic tools.

  • Voice Migration & Site Auditing: Ability to conduct physical site audits, identify and document voice endpoints and connected devices, trace existing services, gather service requirements, and accurately record information used to determine migration disposition.

  • Enterprise Voice Systems: Experience working with enterprise voice or PBX environments. Experience with Avaya Aura, Avaya Communication Manager, Avaya digital/SIP endpoints, or comparable enterprise telephony platforms is preferred.

  • Zoom Phone: Familiarity with Zoom Phone or comparable cloud-based Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) platforms is preferred.

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to isolate and resolve routine voice endpoint, ATA, analog wiring, cabling, and network connectivity issues using established procedures and to recognize when issues require escalation to Sr. Voice Engineers or other technical teams.
