Summary

The Office of Support Operations is seeking a Supervisory General Attorney (Legal Operations) (Assistant Director - Administration and Mission Resilience). As an Assistant Director - Administration and Mission Resilience, you will manage all business functions of the OSO organization, provide OSO offices with the resources and tools to plan, manage, and execute mission requirements.

Duties

In this role as an Assistant Director - Administration and Mission Resilience, you will be responsible for, you will be responsible for: Serving as the Assistant Director, OAMR performing a broad range of functions supporting the operations of the assigned organization, responsible for oversight of the day-to-day operations and for the continuing business process assessment and performance improvement. Developing strategies and plans to fully optimize the use of human capital, financial resources, and advancements in technology to achieve optimum results. Assessing operational shortfalls, identifying opportunities for improvement, initiating technology exploration, and evaluating processes and technologies that may have the potential to improve the effectiveness of the mission of the organization. Managing the design, development, and implementation or conduct of management systems and activities for program review and analysis. Directing and coordinating financial management activities to include: special and recurring financial reports; internal reviews; collaborating with senior staff to develop and implement plans to modernize program management systems. Directing and coordinating enterprise records management activities to include: identifying, creating, authenticating, and managing active SEC records, disposing of inactive records and training. Directing and coordinating enterprise continuity activities, to include: facilitating the SEC's Continuity Program and organizational resiliency programs, enabling responses to operational incidents and the performance of essential functions across a spectrum of emergencies. Qualifications

Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. BASIC REQUIREMENT: All applicants must possess the following: J.D. or LL.B. degree --AND-- Active membership of the bar in good standing in any state, territory of the United States, the District of Columbia, or the commonwealth of Puerto Rico. (Note: proof of bar membership will be required before entry on duty. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: In addition to meeting the basic requirement, applicants must also meet the minimum qualification requirement. SK-17: Applicant must have at least four (4) years of post J.D. work experience, year(s) of which includes: identifying legal issues, providing legal analyses, providing legal solutions/recommendations, and preparing legal documents, such as contracts, dispositions, pleadings, and motions, which also includes at least three (3) years: 1) analyzing business operations data and providing recommendations to senior management; AND 2) planning and executing an enterprise records and information management program or an enterprise continuity program; AND 3) developing organizational budgets and identifying and resolving funding inquiries; AND 4) developing and implementing administrative policies, procedures, or initiatives to meet organizational needs and accomplish program objectives. Competency 4: Strategic Execution - Understand and implement Agency's and Division/Office's policies and goals, with regard to personnel or programs in their purview anticipating, identifying, and addressing the impact of internal and external environmental factors, linking them to capabilities and potential of the organization.
