REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Trainee in Winston-Salem, NC
Our Global Graduate Program (GGP) is an accelerated, entry-level opportunity for college graduates with 1 to 3 years of professional experience who are ready to fast-track their careers globally. The program is designed to prepare participants for a Lead Manager role within one year, with potential international career opportunities across BAT.
As a Global Graduate in Finance, you will develop financial, commercial, leadership, and business capabilities through hands-on assignments and rotations. You will gain exposure across Corporate Finance, Commercial Finance, Operations Finance, and Competitive Insights while collaborating with Finance professionals and business leaders to support strategic decision-making and deliver meaningful business results.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Conduct financial research and data analysis to support strategic initiatives, business performance, and decision-making within one or more Finance Centers of Excellence.

Support the development and implementation of Finance strategies, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work closely with Finance and cross-functional stakeholders to identify business opportunities and translate financial insights into actionable recommendations.

Lead and deliver assigned projects through effective collaboration, independent judgment, and personal accountability.

Participate in structured training, coaching, and development activities while building the financial, commercial, and leadership capabilities required for future roles.
What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree or higher required in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

One to three years of relevant professional experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Analysis, or a related area.

Willingness and ability to pursue career opportunities across BAT’s global footprint.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to analyze data and develop clear, business-focused presentations.

- 401(k) plan that offers opportunity to save on pre- and post-tax basis up to 50 percent of eligible compensation.
o Company matches 100 percent of employee pre-tax/Roth (401k) contributions up to six percent
o Company contributes an additional three percent to 401(k) whether employee participates or not
