Full job description

Classified Vacancy :

West Seneca Central School District is seeking a qualified candidate for the following opening at Winchester Potters Elementary:

Clerk Typist, P/T — This is a 12-month position.

Approximate hours: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm Monday - Friday (19.5 hrs./wk.)

Part-time positions receive paid personal and leave days and are eligible for membership in the NYS Retirement System.

Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide general clerical and administrative support to the building.

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records, reports, and related documentation.

  • Answer and direct telephone calls and provide assistance to staff as needed.

  • Assist with filing, document organization, correspondence, and routine office functions.

  • Communicate professionally and effectively with staff, district personnel, students and parents.

  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling building school-related information.
