Full job description

Summary

Live Events personnel at the National Security Agency (NSA) provides NSA with audio/visual support for various meetings, productions, campaigns, and Town Halls, utilizing video production techniques, camera skills, and AVMM routing.

Duties

Operate audio/visual systems and technology. Prepare audio, video, and lighting equipment for broadcasts and recordings. Ensure high quality broadcasts by connecting, tuning, and configuring audio/visual set ups; operating automated touch panels to control audio/visual technologies; routing video and audio sources to large video walls, LCD screens, confidence monitors; and monitoring feeds. Advise and assist customers with presentation requirements ranging from routing, connecting, and displaying computer and audio/visual signals, to the use of conventional media. Schedule customers' events and productions. Qualifications

The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Relevant experience must be in either operating multimedia systems using audio, visual, or data capabilities (for example, conference rooms, auditoriums, VTC) or in customer service. FULL PERFORMANCE Entry is with a high school diploma or GED plus 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.

  • Operate production equipment (for example, audio, video, projection, lighting, switchers, routers, specialty printers). - Record audio and/or video for productions (for example, events, interviews, b-roll). - Disseminate media products (for example, articles, reports, graphics, photographs, videos). - Broadcast/stream live events. - Conceptualize, coordinate, produce, or direct live events. - Edit and/or mix audio. - Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure equipment is working properly. - Operate and/or maintain media display equipment, systems, or networks (for example, displays screens, video walls, digital signs). - Select the appropriate equipment for a job. Pay: Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Salary Range: $70,623 - $91,815 (Full Performance) Salary range varies by location, work level, and relevant experience to the position. Training will be provided based on the selectee's needs and experience. Benefits: NSA offers a comprehensive benefits package. Work Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, with basic 8hr/day work requirement between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (flexible).
