About Tilda

About Tilda Research, Inc.

Tilda Research is reimagining how clinical trials are run by bringing AI-native tools and AI teammates into clinical research operations. Our technology works alongside sponsor, CRO, and research teams to simplify study management, improve data quality, support real-time oversight, and help accelerate trial timelines.

We are building the future of clinical trial execution: one where research teams can spend less time on administrative bottlenecks and more time focused on patients, sites, and the work that moves new treatments forward. Tilda’s mission is rooted in the belief that clinical research should be faster, more efficient, more scalable, and more accessible — without losing the human judgment and care that patients and research teams deserve.

At Tilda, we are a team of builders, operators, researchers, and problem-solvers working at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and AI. We move quickly, think deeply, and care about building products and systems that create meaningful impact in the clinical research industry.

We are looking for an Automation Engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building systems that remove friction, and takes pride in making engineering teams faster and more reliable through smart automation.

What You’ll Do

Automation & Systems Engineering

  • Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks across testing, CI/CD, infrastructure, and internal workflows
  • Identify manual, repetitive processes and replace them with scalable automated solutions
  • Partner with engineering, product, and data teams to embed automation into the development lifecycle

CI/CD & DevOps Enablement

  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment speed, reliability, and observability
  • Automate build, test, release, and rollback processes
  • Improve developer experience by reducing cycle time and failure rates

Quality & Reliability Automation

  • Develop automated testing strategies (unit, integration, regression, end-to-end)
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms where possible
  • Ensure automation supports security, compliance, and performance requirements

Tooling & Platform Ownership

  • Own internal tools and automation platforms end-to-end
  • Evaluate and introduce new automation tools, frameworks, or services when they meaningfully improve outcomes
  • Write clear documentation and enablement guides for teams

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer or SDET
  • Strong programming experience in one or more of: JavaScript ( WebDriverIO or Playwright), Python ( Pytest Framework)
  • Experience building automation frameworks rather than only using them

Technical Skills

  • CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)
  • Containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes preferred)
  • Automated testing frameworks and tooling
