Standard Job Description

Lockheed Martin Space, Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, is seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator to join the team in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. Responsibilities include installation, configuration, maintenance, and securing Oracle RDBMS and FMW systems to ensure maximum uptime, high availability, and optimal performance.

Your roles and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Installation and Configuration of Oracle RDBMS and FMW software

  • Application of Oracle patch updates

  • Backup and recovery processing

  • Performance tuning

  • System monitoring

  • Application custom software and COTS software update support

  • Application of cybersecurity controls

  • System monitoring

  • IT System design and architecture

Basic Qualifications

  • Oracle RDBMS (Relational Database Management System) administration

  • Oracle Fusion Middleware (FBMW) administration

  • Overall Oracle RDBMS and FMW system architecture

  • RedHat Linux Experience

  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance

  • Full on-site work at the LM Aguadilla, Puerto Rico facility

Desired Skills

  • Oracle Datagaurd

  • Oracle RDBMS multi-tenant architecture

  • Ansible Experience

  • CompTIA security+ certification

  • Shell scripting (bash)

  • Oracle Cloud Control

  • GitLab pipelines (or any CI system would work)

  • Experience with Docker containerized databases

  • Experience with MySQL

  • Experience with Sybase

  • Experience with Jira and Confluence

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $76700.00 - $142500.00

Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

  • Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.

  • For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
