IT Systems AnalystOverview
We are seeking an IT Systems Analyst to support end users, IT infrastructure, and operational technology (OT) environments. This role is responsible for troubleshooting desktop systems, supporting network and server infrastructure, maintaining hardware assets, and delivering exceptional technical support in a 24x7 operational environment.
Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on and remote support for Windows PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, AV systems, and business applications.

Troubleshoot, deploy, image, and maintain end-user hardware and software.

Support network infrastructure, including basic VLAN, connectivity, and VoIP troubleshooting.

Provide Level 1 server, storage, and OT systems support.

Install and maintain equipment in data centers, network closets, and control rooms.

Support cybersecurity initiatives, patching, endpoint protection, and system maintenance activities.

Manage service tickets, documentation, asset inventories, and knowledge base updates.

Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support projects.

Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents as needed.
Required Qualifications
-
3+ years of IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure experience.
-
2+ years of hands-on Microsoft Windows troubleshooting experience.
-
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
-
Experience supporting desktop hardware, software, and enterprise applications.
-
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
-
Ability to provide after-hours support in a 24x7 environment and participate in on-call rotations.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience with networking, VLANs, wireless, and VoIP technologies.

Exposure to server, storage, virtualization, and data center environments.
-
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and OT/industrial systems.
-
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
Physical Requirements
-
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 30 lbs.
-
Ability to push/pull carts up to 100 lbs.
-
Ability to climb stairs, work around equipment, and follow site safety requirements.
Ideal candidates are customer-focused IT professionals with strong Windows troubleshooting skills, a hands-on approach to infrastructure support, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newcastle, WY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
