Location: Mt. Sterling, ILDepartment: Occupational Health & SafetyReports To: Occupational Health ManagerWage Range: $20.58 - $30.87 per hour

Completes and schedules medical pre-employment questionnaires for safety sensitive roles at Dot Foods and Dot Transportation to comply with physical ability requirements. Coordinates and administers all random drug testing and employee assistance follow up testing for safety sensitive roles for Dot Foods.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Conducts and scheduling pre-employment medical questionnaires live or via phone

  • Schedules and administers all random drug testing for Dot Foods, Mt. Sterling, IL

  • Tracking results and follow up testing in databases

  • Assist in uploading and documenting medical records into patient records

  • Manages confidentiality with all medical records for Mt. Sterling employees

  • Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) active license in the state of Illinois.

  • 3-5 years or related work experience as an LPN.

  • High level of assertiveness and accountability.

  • Experience in team facilitation and individual/team training environments.

  • Strong knowledge in medical records systems, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word.

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

  • 1-3 years’ work experience in making independent medical decisions, all within the perimeters of the IL Nurse Practice Act for an LPN.

  • Strong analytical, organizational skills, and computer skills.

  • Ability to interact well with employees at all work areas and locations.

ROLE SPECIFICS

  • Schedule – Up to 20 hours per week varied upon job tasks. Ability to work from home on occasion and required 1-2 times per month of evening work.

  • Travel – Occasional overnight travel to company locations or to attend seminars and meetings to develop professional expertise. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
