Full job description

What you get to do:
- Utilize electronic knowledge and troubleshooting skills as related to all rides
- Be a team leader, setting good examples for team members in the promotion of good work performance, following guidelines of company and promoting good safety practices
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all rides
- Organize and plan daily workload of team; supervise all work performance of technicians
- Keep working areas neat, clean, and tidy
- Perform other miscellaneous duties as required
What it takes to succeed:
- Have high school diploma or equivalent
- Have at least two years of rides or mechanical experience
- Have a valid state driver’s license and be able to obtain a company driver’s license
- Have working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
- Be able to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast paced work environment
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills regarding technical knowledge
- Possess knowledge and understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders
- Be able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Be able to stand for an entire shift
- Be comfortable working at heights up to 385ft
- Be able to walk uphill and work on a 35-40 degree slope
- Be able to repetitively climb stairs
- Be able to climb and work off of ladders
- Be comfortable working in and around water
- Meet all ride requirements and be comfortable test-riding all rides
- Be available to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. be able to work opening and closing shifts
- Certified in park rides green tag procedures and competency tested
- Cross-trained in other maintenance fields
