Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position acts as a master in concrete, asphalt repair, drainage work, grading, earthwork, pavers, and assorted project types.

Minimum Experience / Education:

Required Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalency and two (2) years of experience in trade(s) areas assigned; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Note: Some state job postings state you can qualify by an ‘equivalent combination of education and experience.’ If that language appears above, then you may qualify through EITHER years of education OR years of directly related experience, OR a combination of both.

Preferred Education Skills and Experience:

  • Preference for experience in multiple construction and materials backgrounds.

  • Preference for strong working knowledge and experience with concrete, asphalt, drainage, and many other site-related activities.

  • Experience as a first-line or second-line supervisor in a multi-trade facilities maintenance unit.

  • Heavy equipment operation.
