Overview

The Manager of Predictive Analytics & Enterprise Data Science will lead the firm's efforts to transform data into proactive business insights through predictive analytics, machine learning, and advanced statistical modeling.

This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders, the Data Warehouse team, and technology partners to identify high-value opportunities, develop scalable analytics solutions, and operationalize predictive models across the enterprise.

The position will help establish and mature the firm's predictive analytics capability, guiding analytics strategy, mentoring technical resources, and ensuring analytical solutions are built on trusted, enterprise-grade data platforms rather than isolated departmental tools.

Responsibilities

Analytics Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and maintain the firm's predictive analytics roadmap.

  • Identify and prioritize business opportunities where predictive models can improve decision-making.

  • Partner with business leaders to translate operational challenges into analytics initiatives.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analysts and data science resources.

Predictive Analytics & Machine Learning

  • Design, develop, and deploy predictive models that identify business risks and opportunities.

  • Create early warning systems for key business processes such as:

  • Project risk detection

  • Accounts receivable collection risk

  • Revenue forecasting

  • Staff utilization trends

  • PTO and labor cost forecasting

  • Project margin deterioration

  • Establish model monitoring and performance measurement processes.

Enterprise Data Enablement

  • Partner closely with the Data Warehouse team to define data requirements and architecture.

  • Ensure analytics solutions are built using governed, enterprise-scale datasets.

  • Collaborate on data quality improvements and master data initiatives.

  • Help define analytical data products and reusable datasets.

Business Partnership

  • Work directly with Finance, Operations, PMApp, and other business teams.

  • Communicate analytical findings in business terms.

  • Drive adoption of predictive insights within operational workflows.

  • Support executive decision-making with data-driven recommendations.

Vendor & Technology Leadership

  • Partner with strategic consulting and implementation partners, including CDW and future analytics partners.

  • Evaluate analytics platforms, machine learning technologies, and AI capabilities.

  • Establish best practices for model development, governance, and deployment.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or related field.

  • Master's degree preferred.

Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics, data science, business intelligence, or related fields.

  • Experience building predictive models in business environments.

  • Experience working with enterprise data warehouse environments and analytics platforms.

  • Experience leading analytics initiatives across multiple business functions.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior business stakeholders.

Technical Skills

  • Python

  • SQL

  • Machine Learning

  • Statistical Modeling

  • Power BI/Tableau

  • Azure Databricks or similar cloud analytics platforms

  • Data warehousing and data governance concepts

Success Profile

  • The ideal candidate is equally comfortable:

  • Partnering with leaders to identify strategic business opportunities for predictive analytics.

  • Coaching and mentoring technical team members

  • Working with the Data Warehouse team on architecture, governance, and enterprise data strategy.

  • Presenting recommendations and actionable insights to executive leadership.
