Job Description

This person will support the Loyalty Customer Analytics team by analyzing customer and transaction data to uncover insights that drive marketing and business decisions. On a day-to-day basis, they will evaluate customer behavior, spending patterns, profitability, and loyalty metrics to identify opportunities for growth and engagement. They will develop customer segmentations, calculate customer value measures, and assess the potential impact of business strategies and marketing initiatives. The role also involves creating reports, dashboards, presentations, and visualizations for stakeholders, partnering with cross-functional teams to provide analytical support, and leveraging statistical techniques to identify purchase trends, predict future customer value, and recommend improvements to analytics and modeling efforts.

Skills and Requirements

  • Previous retail experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to analyze, evaluate and interpret complex data using advanced statistical, econometric and quantitative analysis techniques
  • Knowledge of quantitative theories and techniques and their role in a business context
  • Prior experience with SQL, Python, and Tableau - Experience writing SQL queries and interpreting Skilled in translating business questions / problems into analytical models
