Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced HR professional to keep HR operations, benefits, leave administration, and data management running smoothly. You're detail-oriented, comfortable juggling recurring deadlines across systems and vendors, and quick to learn new processes.

Key Responsibilities

New Hire & Onboarding/Offboarding Support

  • Schedule orientations and communicate onboarding details to new hires

  • Handle offboarding administration, including termination shipping labels and multi-step severance agreements

HRIS & Data Management

  • Support HRIS processes, including prioritization queues, company-wide time off reporting, and contractor records

  • Enter, update, and audit employee data and personnel changes accurately and on deadline

  • Maintain organized electronic and physical records

Benefits Administration (Leave & Compliance)

  • Monitor the benefits inbox, invoices, and integration file reports

  • Process weekly benefits funding, verification reports, contribution submissions (including ERISA-governed 401(k)), and enrollment communications

  • Reconcile monthly invoices across all benefits vendors (medical, pharmacy, disability, legal, and related plans)

  • Own parental leave administration end to end, including casework and ongoing FMLA compliance

  • Participate in the weekly ADA leave meeting, applying knowledge of accommodation and leave requirements

Employee Support & Relations

  • Answer employee questions on HR policies and programs; escalate employee relations issues

  • Track training records and certifications

  • Support employee events, recognition programs, and internal communications

  • Manage administrative ticketing and correspondence; support HR projects and escalate discrepancies

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2+ years in HR operations, benefits administration, or an HR generalist/coordinator role; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

  • Hands-on experience with new hire paperwork and I-9 verification

  • Working knowledge of benefits plans, enrollment, FMLA, leave compliance, and federal and state employment laws

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems (Workday, SAP, or comparable strongly preferred); onboarding and document management platform experience a plus

  • Comfort with invoice processing, reconciliation, and vendor payment deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail with high data volumes and multiple recurring deadlines; discretion with confidential information and sound judgment under pressure

  • Strong communication and customer service skills, a positive, team-oriented attitude, and the ability to ramp up quickly and work independently after initial training
