Principal Product Owner

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Principal Product Owner to lead and develop a team of 7 Product Owners for one of our clients. This is a people leadership role focused on coaching, prioritization, stakeholder management, and driving execution. The ideal candidate will bring strong insurance business knowledge and insurance expertise, with less emphasis on deep technical skills.

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of Product Ownership, Product Management, or Business Analysis experience Previous experience leading or managing Product Owners Strong Property & Casualty insurance experience Homeowners and/or Commercial insurance experience Guidewire experience PolicyCenter experience (required) Experience with ClaimCenter and/or BillingCenter Experience working across multiple Guidewire platforms Strong understanding of insurance business processes Agile/Scrum methodology experience Experience with stakeholder management, prioritization, and roadmap execution Guidewire Cloud experience General cloud exposure Background in underwriting or business analysis Experience leading Guidewire transformation or modernization efforts Experience working within large enterprise insurance organizations
