What Ultrasound contributes to Cardinal Health

Diagnostic Imaging uses advanced technology to create images of internal body structures, helping to assess clinical conditions and support diagnosis and treatment. This includes procedures like MRI, ultrasound, X-rays, CT scans, and PET scans.

The Ultrasound Technician offers services that use high-frequency sound waves to examine tissues and organs inside the body, helping to diagnose various conditions, including cancer. This position requires at least 24 hours of availability each week, with the priority being Tuesdays. The other days of the week are flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Explains imaging procedure, answers questions, and eases patient anxiety prior to their scan

  • Reviews patient medical records and clinical history

  • Positions patient correctly and comfortably for their scan

  • Analyzes scanned images onsite to verify technical adequacy and ensure complete diagnostic coverage

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience, preferred

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Ultrasound technician license

  • Vascular and urology focused experience, preferred

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

Anticipated hourly range: $20.10 per hour - $33.18 per hour
