Summary
You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST (HUMAN RESOURCE SPECIALIST) in the HUMAN RESOURCE DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-04 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
Duties
- You will provide guidance and advisory services in Recruitment and Outreach internal/external recruitment, selection and placement programs in the Human Resources Office.
- You will use detailed analytical methods to identify, evaluate, and recommend in-depth alternatives with impact analysis to management to find appropriate Human Resources solutions.
- You will assist with the management of student and intern programs, outreach to colleges/universities for recruitment, and provide overall coordination of recruiting efforts.
Qualifications
NT-05: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04 (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector interpreting and applying Federal Human Resources policies, rules, and regulations; advising management on recruitment strategies, staffing sources, and selection criteria; coordinating recruitment and outreach activities, including student and intern programs; resolving complex staffing issues; and analyzing personnel or program data to support management decisions for an organization. NT-04: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-03 (GS-09/10 grade level equivalency), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying Federal Human Resources policies, rules, and regulations to resolve staffing issues, coordinate recruitment outreach activities, and analyzing personnel or program data for an organization.
