Full job description

JOB TITLE: Teacher’s Aide 1:1

LOCATION: Pupil Personnel Services/Middle School

BASIS OF EMPLOYMENT: Full time, 10-month position

RATE OF PAY: CSEA Agreement, Salary Grade E, $17.90 - $19.10/hour

Job Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; some college preferred; experience working with young children; demonstrated positive interpersonal skills; demonstrated good oral and written communications; ability to successfully complete required training courses.

Provides direct services to students with special needs and activities that may be necessary as described in IEP’s; duties may include escorting child in and out of buildings at start and end of school day; assisting child at recess, lunch and during fire drills or other emergencies; assisting with diapering.
