Full job description
A Company That Matters Insurance exists to support people at their most vulnerable, after an accident, illness, theft, fire, or crisis. Claims are the moment of truth. That's why we're passionate about making every claim more empathetic, more efficient, and more human. ClaimSorted is an AI-native Third Party Administrator that manages claims operations for insurers across auto, property, travel, gadget, pet, renters, and liability. We combine world-class claims talent with proprietary AI systems to deliver dramatically faster resolutions, lower leakage, and a fundamentally better customer experience. Backed by Y Combinator, Atomico, and Eurazeo, we've raised $16M+ and already manage more than $200M in insurance premium, including publicly traded companies and some of the most well-known household names. The Role Handling claims at scale is an operations problem and a product problem at the same time. You'll own the framework that makes ours work: the processes every line of business runs on, the metrics that tell us whether they hold, and the product agenda that comes out of both.
-
Define how claims are handled across every line of business, and make that framework hold as we add more.
-
Set the operational metrics the claims team is run on, and make them trustworthy enough to act on.
-
Turn what you see on the frontline into a clear product agenda, and drive it with the product team.
-
Own rollout and adoption of new product features, so they change how the team actually works.
-
Own the operational relationship with clients through onboarding and beyond.
We're hiring this role at junior, mid and senior levels — apply and we'll calibrate. We love working together in the office, so this is a full-time, office-based role in our London office. We're a high-intensity team and often put in significant time and effort, because we believe great outcomes come from doing the work well. Qualifications
-
A background in consulting, banking, product or operations at a high-growth startup, product at a major tech company or AI lab, or founding your own company.
-
You turn chaos into process, and the process survives contact with a growing team.
-
You make good product calls — you can separate the core problem from the symptom and say what should be built.
-
You drive adoption. A process nobody follows is one you haven't finished.
-
You work with data fluently, and use AI to get further with it than a spreadsheet would.
-
Strong written and spoken communication — with claims, with product, and with clients.
