Were looking for an Electrical Design Engineer who enjoys hands-on engineering and wants to see their designs come to life. Youll design and develop industrial electrical control systems from initial concept through commissioning, working alongside an experienced engineering team on real-world projects.

What Youll Do

Design electrical control systems and panels for industrial applications
-
Create panel layouts, wiring schematics, and construction drawings using AutoCAD
-
Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and support component selection
-
Design to NEC, UL, and industry standards
-
Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
-
Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
-
Collaborate with engineers and customers to develop custom solutions
-
Identify opportunities to improve system performance, reliability, and efficiency
-
Support projects from concept through completion
What Were Looking For
-
15+ years of electrical design or controls engineering experience
-
Proficiency with AutoCAD, preferably AutoCAD Electrical
-
Experience with electrical panel design and industrial controls
-
Understanding of power distribution and low-voltage systems
-
Knowledge of NEC and UL standards
-
Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
-
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
-
Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
Nice to Have
-
PLC experience, especially Allen-Bradley
-
Oil & gas, data center, or industrial automation experience
-
Field installation or commissioning experience

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $105000.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
