• Schedule: Full time | Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Travel required

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Deliver comprehensive patient care by executing evidence-based care plans, ensuring high clinical standards, and promoting optimal patient outcomes.

• Monitor and communicate health changes in real time to ensure rapid intervention and continuous safety throughout the care journey.

• Coordinate multi-disciplinary team efforts as the central liaison, creating a seamless, well-managed care experience for every patient.

• Execute provider orders precisely to ensure timely treatment, accurate medication administration, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

• Drive proactive discharge planning alongside the healthcare team to prepare patients and families for a smooth, safe transition home.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required OR a bachelors level degree not in nursing, an active RN License, and enrolled in an Alternate Entry Masters of Science in Nursing Program with a minimum of 1 year in the program completed.

Additional Preferences:

• Clinical Setting Preferences: Operating Room (OR) and Ascension clinic experience preferred.

• System Experience Preference: Athena EHR software experience preferred.
