HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience

Accredited Program for Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) OR Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) Required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
- 1 Prior experience in a psychiatric or mental health facility in the delivery of direct patient care as is typically acquired in 1 year.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Includes the full scope of practice consistent with LVN/LPT licensure.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge of basic nursing aide functions, such as assisting with activities of daily living, obtaining vital signs, and documentation of observations.

Under the direction of the RN priorities and manages multiple demands in an ever changing environment.

Has the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to obtain patients vital sign, assist with activities of daily living and documentation of observations made.

Pay Range is $27.37 to $35.03 / hour The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled. Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs. Base pay is only one component of Sutter Health’s comprehensive total rewards program. Eligible positions also include a comprehensive benefits package.
