As a Network Specialist you will analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate computer and networking (Process Control Network) problems. This role is responsible for maintaining VRF PCN and DMZ networks and ensuring the network remains secure through both hardware/software configuration and end-user training.

  • Collect, monitor, and optimize server performance and capacity to keep up with demand in online traffic.
  • Monitor security.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, hardware, and software issues and perform routine maintenance on these devices.
  • Deploy and maintain OT (Operations Technology) network infrastructure through Windows patching, antivirus updates, firmware updates, and application updates.
  • Perform network component upgrades to maintain network equipment stability and deploy updated firmware to various routers and switches.
  • Install network computers, servers, network, and communications equipment.
  • Continually improve and develop security protocols.
  • Periodically report System and Cyber security KPI’s.

Position level and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

This position is salaried exempt status, which means you are not eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two years experience as a Network Specialist required. An Associate's degree (or higher level degree) in an IT-related field may substitute for the two years experience
  • Minimum of five years experience working with computer hardware and software required.
  • Minimum of five years experience with common troubleshooting tools like Command Prompt, PowerShell, Putty, Wireshark, etc. required.
  • Able and willing to work on-site and in-person, required.

Preferred Requirements:

  • CompTIA, Microsoft, or Cisco Network Professional certification(s) preferred.
