Job Description
As South Central Region Director, Growth & Sales, North America, you will be responsible for driving regional revenue growth across the Energy & Power market segment with a focus on clients in the utility, municipality, cooperative, EPC, developer, renewable energy, data center and other market segments. Other expectations for this role include:
-
Working with the Energy & Power North American leadership team to chart the next chapter of Jacobs’ growth in the Americas. You will work seamlessly as a team member to contribute to the growth of E&P revenue, so we continue to deliver on our ambitious deep double-digit growth.
-
Demonstrated ability to work within the Jacobs’ Relationship-Based Sales Process, driving disciplined pursuits across the entire life cycle in alignment with our overall market growth strategies. Skilled in building robust pipelines and positioning Jacobs to win. Active contributor to critical bid decisions, with a focus on securing high-value work that advances client ambitions.
-
Working to ensure the management of bid offerings meets Jacobs’ goals with respect to margin and operating profit while remaining competitive.
-
Building both internal Jacobs networks and external client relationships at multiple levels. Client relationships will be your currency. You will build deep trust with clients, expanding Jacobs’ share of the market and working with leadership when challenges arise.
-
Participating in development of client strategy & execution tactics for growing the Energy & Power business at Jacobs across multiple market segments, selling the entire "Jacobs store".
-
Overseeing the sales lifecycle of Energy & Power regional clients from relationship building, opportunity development, proposal development and submittal, contract negotiations, risk management and opportunity close. You will engage directly with clients from initial engagement through successful pursuits and ongoing relationship management — shaping opportunities that create real value and align with their ambitions. Moving at pace, you will selectively pursue the right work, secure it in a risk-appropriate manner, and ensure Jacobs captures full value through equitable terms and disciplined cost-of-sales management.
-
Partnering with Energy & Power Operations (Americas), including client account seller-doer personnel, as a team to anticipate potential project resource needs that enable growth, including internal staffing, cross-functional talent (beyond E&P), and external teaming partners.
-
Contributing to the delivery of an annual Energy & Power sales plan within G&A budgets; driving assigned regional growth; and utilizing disciplined execution to ensure sufficient book-to-burn to meet our America’s P&L commitments. This means balancing ambition with rigor and compliance: securing transformational growth while maintaining commercial discipline and protecting margins. #LI-CC1 #epjobs #naepjobs
