Full job description

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Conshohocken, PA

Type: 3-6 month Contract-Hire

Hours: First shift, 40 hours per week, flexible eight-hour shift within 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

Overview

Entry-level Chemical Technician role in Conshohocken, PA, supporting hands-on lab work focused on advanced recycling of waste plastic. You’ll run catalytic experiments, help operate/maintain lab equipment, and perform GC and related analytical testing while documenting and interpreting results

Responsibilities

  • Conduct catalytic lab experiments and routine testing related to plastic-waste recycling.

  • Prepare and operate lab equipment and perform GC and related analytical testing.

  • Collect, process, interpret, and communicate experimental results.

  • Troubleshoot experimental setups, instruments, methods, and unexpected results.

  • Maintain complete lab records and perform routine instrument maintenance, calibration, and QC work.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in chemistry or higher.

  • Ability to conduct lab experiments, follow procedures, interpret data, troubleshoot problems, document work accurately, and communicate results.

  • Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.

  • Prior GC experience preferred, not required.

  • Hands-on chemistry lab work experience (academic research, internships, and co-ops qualify).

  • Experience with running experiments, operating analytical equipment, data processing, and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
