October/November the candidtes will go to the Norwood or Montgomery office. December – June will be onsite at Clinton (610 W Main St, Wilmington, OH 45177)

We are seeking two experienced, tenured Desktop Support Technicians to support a large-scale technology deployment project at a local health system. This individual will play a key role in the deployment of 700+ computers in preparation for the hospital’s planned May 1, 2027 go-live.

Ideal candidates will have strong hands-on desktop support experience, including computer imaging, equipment deployment, Active Directory, software and device management tools, data migration, cable management, and end-user support. This role requires individuals who are dependable, organized, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment with changing priorities.

Resources may initially work out of Norwood or Montgomery before transitioning to Wilmington and must be willing to travel to Wilmington as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the deployment and replacement of 700+ computers across the Clinton Regional Hospital environment.
  • Image, configure, prepare, and deploy computers and associated equipment for end users.
  • Assist with large-scale computer refreshes and coordinated technology rollouts.
  • Work within Active Directory to support user accounts, computer objects, group memberships, and device-related activities.
  • Utilize tools such as PDQ, SCCM, Intune, or similar software deployment and device management platforms.
  • Back up and transfer appropriate end-user files and data during computer replacements.
  • Deploy and configure wall-mounted computers, including proper cable installation and cable management.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and end-user issues that arise during deployment.
  • Accurately document deployments, equipment changes, completed tasks, and outstanding issues.
  • Communicate deployment status, issues, risks, and completed work to the appropriate project teams.

Skills and Requirements

  • Previous professional experience in desktop support, IT field services, computer deployment, or a similar technical support role.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying or replacing computer equipment as part of a large-scale or coordinated rollout.
  • Hands-on experience imaging and preparing computers for end-user deployment.
  • Experience working within Active Directory.
  • Experience with PDQ, SCCM, Intune, or comparable software/device deployment tools.
  • Experience performing user data backup, migration, and transfer during computer replacements.
